About Us

Echo Active connects communities for conservation. We raise awareness about threatened species and ecosystems, and promote businesses that create incentives for conservation.

What We Do
Echo Active partners with organic retailers and eco-businesses that create incentives for a cleaner, greener world. We also partner with ecotour operators, wildlife sanctuaries and accommodation providers in areas affected by logging, mining and other development.

Who Are We?
Echo Active is run by David Hack, photographer, traveller and nature lover.

David has worked as a lawyer, in government and runs a tutoring agency. He's volunteered with the Wilderness Society and MyEnvironment, a group based in the Victorian Central Highlands that supports creating a Great Forest National Park. David lives in Melbourne and regularly visits Toolangi, an area threatened by logging and home of the Leadbeater's Possum.
